Jun 20, 2023The Indianapolis Zoo is located in the heart of the city of Indianapolis. It is within walking distance of White River State Park , The Indiana State Museum , and Victory Field. Address: 1200 W. Washington Street Indianapolis, IN 46222 I went to a conference in Indianapolis a few weeks ago and stayed at the JW Marriott, which provided excellent access to White River State Park. On a beautiful Sunday late afternoon/early evening, I strolled over to the Indianapolis Zoo during their Zoo Boo event. This is a great little zoo, not too big, but enough to do for a couple of hours.

Fairbanks Art and Nature Park, which is on the grounds of Newfields in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States.The artwork, primarily made from fiberglass, consists of twenty white and black bone-shaped benches.

Garfield Park Conservatory and Sunken Garden. Garfield Park, the oldest park in Indianapolis, is a hidden gem tucked away in Downtown Indy. The Conservatory houses 10,000 square feet of unique tropical plants that are in full bloom year-round. A main attraction is the the indoor 15-foot-tall granite waterfall.
